THE FOUNDING STORY
A Vision Born in
Birmingham, 1994
Sardar Abdul Aziz was a successful textile businessman based in Birmingham, UK – but his roots ran deep in Khuiratta, Azad Kashmir. Despite the demands of his business, his heart never left his homeland, and he watched with sorrow as communities there struggled without access to basic, modern healthcare.
In 2003, driven by a profound sense of duty and faith, he founded the Aziz Welfare Trust with a singular mission: to bring quality healthcare to those who needed it most. He invested most of his estate and personal earnings into his vision, contributing £2.4 million prior to his passing to build the hospital – putting his own wealth on the line before asking anyone else to.
Though he passed away before seeing his dream fully realised, his legacy lives on – carried forward every day by his family.

Eye Camps
Set up and run eye camps which provided thousands of patients with free treatment including cataract removal.
Life-saving treatment
Water Wells
Provided over 100 water wells which provide a clean source of water for the local populace.
Clean Water
100+ Hand Pumps
Installed over 100 hand pumps across rural communities in Pakistan, providing families with reliable access to clean drinking water.
Infrastructure
Road Construction
Construction of a 6km link road between Khuiratta, Saidpur and Pehlan.
Education
School Refurbishments
Donated towards the refurbishment and facilitation of a variety of government run primary and secondary schools & colleges.

Grandson of the late Sardar Abdul Aziz and son of Nassar Ahmed, Faisal volunteers his time to the Foundation. Together with his father, he ensures that 100% of donations go directly to those in need.
